Bruce Davidson / Subway

First published in 1986, Bruce Davidsons 'Subway' comprises more than 100 pictures taken by Davidson while riding the subway in New York in the first half of the 80s, a time when it was notorious for crime and some wild graffiti.

This edition adds unseen images, and includes an introduction by Arthur Ollman of the Museum of Photographic Art in San Diego, and a foreword by Fred Braithwaite (aka Fab Five Freddy). It also includes Bruce Davidson and Henry Geldzahler's original essays.
